Stolen Underwear

...that's right...someone stole my  underwear (just 1 pair)  Ok, I'm not sure that's what happened.  It's possible that they fell into the canal while drying, or a bird swooped them up, or they are wrapped up in some other garment and I will come across them in the future (I'm hoping).  

Anyhow...I spent the last 2 weeks hanging out at LTF (see previous post).  Highlights from this trip:

1.  The Irishman.

3. Stunning scenery...both on the beach and the canal!

4.  Pina

     Pina is a hawksbill turtle currently being nursed to health at Widecast.  It was turned over to the organization by a local family that was keeping s/he.  The water in the tank is changed twice a week.  She is also measured and cleaned once a week.

7.  Bat-ricia

     Shared a room with 3 bats.  I named one Batricia.  :)  At first, I would duck and dodge when the bats started flying around.  As time went on, I figured out how to not get too close, so they wouldn't fly around.  Therefore (Sean) my opinion still remains the same...I will still duck and roll...but I think they are also adorable (when they sleep).

8.  I read 3 books:  World War Z, How to be Good, and Gone Girl.  That has to be some sort of record for me.

 

9. Spanish.

     I learned it.  Well...at least enough to get by for now.  And I'm attempting to learn a little more each day, but as it turns out, I have an awful memory.  To the point of asking what a word is as I'm repeating it back.  It's a work in progress.  For now..
