About

I am a band director.  I was a band director.  Now I’m jobless.  I’ve traded the comfort of an awesome job with people I adored for the unknown – but to fulfill a dream of seeing the world.  I sold what I could, gave away what I couldn’t, and kept only enough to get me started again when I choose to return home.  That’s about 15 boxes.  My whole life is reduced to 15 boxes.  And honestly, most of that is stuff I couldn’t part with…pictures, memories, my dog (she’s not in a box).    My mom, dad, and sister all graciously volunteered their space to store what they could.
